
Changes being planned in our NHS are going ahead without proper public consultation. We asked the questions the public should be asking, and work out the answers from the published NHS papers.
A drastic cut of £1.2bn is being made over the next five years in Camden, Islington, Haringey, Bernet and Enfield compared with the current level of spending and projected levels of need. Nice words like ‘care closer to home’ and ‘integration’ disguise the fact that NHS managers are being asked to ‘think the unthinkable’ about service provision.
