We are a group of concerned local people who campaign to alert people to the danger that our NHS is in.  We stand for an NHS which is publicly funded, publicly delivered and publicly accountable and available to all on the basis of clinical need.  We are opposed to the privatization of health, whether by contracting services out to the private sector or by so reducing funding for NHS services that more and more people actually go private, leaving a substandard service for those who cannot do that.

We are one of many local groups affiliated to the national body Keep Our NHS Public, and most of us take out individual membership and make donations.

Islington Keep Our NHS Public meets on the second Thursday of the month at

124 Canonbury Road,
London N1 2UT.

Meetings start at 7 pm and end by 9pm. We use this time to plan our campaign work.
