Wherever you live in the UK, THIS IS YOUR FIGHT.In England, the prime minister has just had to admit that he failed to fix the waiting lists crisis, despite previously saying the private sector would fix it.In Northern Ireland, GPs are so cash strapped they are being forced to charge some patients £75 for an appointment. In Scotland, private health firms, many of whom donated to UK politicians, are charging Scots anywhere from £79 to £250 to be seen for just 15 minutes. In Wales, the budget for your NHS was £900 million less in real terms in 2023 than the UK government promised in order to help make sure people can see the doctor. The decisions made by the UK government affects the NHS in all four nations.Right now candidates vying to get into parliament are hearing from the well-funded private healthcare lobby. You can show them that organised people is stronger than organised money.
You can make a big splash today by making sure tens of thousands of emails are sent to candidates across the country. Please send the letter now and ask your friends and family to do the same.
